What does the El Morro Theatre provide?
The El Morro Theatre has the capactiy to comfortably seat 471 guests. The seats were
replaced in 2006 with bigger, more plush seats with large cup holders.
Balcony
The balcony is inlcluded in the theatre, however, by itself the balcony holds 120 seats.
The balcony also provides a section with tables and chairs that allow 15 people to
eat and sit while they watch a performance (arrange with management).
Stage
The stage of the theatre is 32 feet wide by 21 feet deep measuring from the center.
Facility Rates
For Profit Organizations
Base Fee (includes cleaning fee) - $500.00
Stage Lighting/Lighting Technician - $175.00/Tech $75.00 (up to 4 hours)
Sound/Sound Technician (local contractor) - Needs to be contracted out
Projector/Projector Operator - $125.00/$75.00 Tech (4 hours)
Damage Deposit - Arrange with management
Security (hourly rate of $9.75 per guard + Tax) - 1 guard per 100 people after 6pm
Insurance (a copy of all insurance documents is needed) - Arrange with management
Non-Profit Organizations and Schools

The El Morro Theatre is available for rent to the public. The following are rates
for renting the theatre. The El Morro Theatre reserves the right to determine
which rate category will be applied for rental.
Damage Deposit will be returned if no damage is determined by theatre mgmt.
